So here's the question of the day? What do YOU do to shake yourself out of the doldrums?

I put on high energy music and belly dance. This might look better on Swampgirl than you but you should not let that hinder your creativity and talent. Or I go get another crazy color put in my hair. My latest addition is a nice streak of bombshell blonde. Looks great against the burgundy.
If I am broke and can't dance for some reason (sick or whatever), I pet my dog until she falls asleep and all is again right in my world.
If those are not good options, when all else fails... chocolate is the key. Or an expensive drink if you are allergic to chocolate.
Go to the library. Or the aquarium, there's really cool stuff there. Stimulate your mind with new colors and shapes.
Oh and most important, take some time to breathe deeply. You'd be surprised!
Wow, long post.

Good advice! Although, I don't know about me and bellydancing outfit....then again, they say bellydancing is good exercise. I could use some of that.

It's great exercise for your core muscles as well as arms and legs. And it's good for the soul to shake whatever you've got and not care if you're not model thin. I don't dance in silks, anyway... I throw on a sports crop top (lined, you know the kind I mean) and a regular gauzy cotton skirt and tie a coin scarf around my hips so I can make sure I'm isolating movement to certain muscle groups... but don't worry about that crap, woman, just get out there and dance!

You know, I'd like to discuss Pie.
For a few reasons. Everybody loves Pie. I mean, c'mon. You've just got to like it.
My guild had a discussion a couple nights ago, that lasted about an hour, all over what sort of pie I am.
I think it ended up that I'm a cheap, crumbly, dried apple pie, with no filling, and store-bought crust.
Of course, this is entirely the opposite of the real me. Everybody knows I'm not cheap. And everybody knows I've got some filling.
Everybody.
I like to think of myself as a pecan pie. I always liked pecan pie.
